MORE TREES TO REDUCE POLLUTION?

"Trees are poems the earth writes upon the sky.” Trees and plants are one of the main reasons why mankind came into existence. They exhale oxygen and inhale carbon dioxide to maintain the ecological balance in the environment, absorbing all the harmful gases and protecting us from the harmful ultraviolet rays.

Unfortunately, urbanization is leading to the clearing of forests and parks despite the numerous benefits they offer. For instance, they feed us, they produce the oxygen we breathe, their roots prevent natural disasters, they provide wood.

In Sweden, they are carrying out a program based on planting trees. Every year over 300 million seedlings are planted in their forests.

We should become more environmentally conscious to face the challenge of our survival. As a Chinese proverb states, "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." So do your bit and make this place more pleasant.
